Who should attend these events?

Tech Connects are specifically engineered for our technically minded audience. End users and administrators of SL1 will find the content most useful.

I'm interested in presenting during the event. Who do I contact?

When you register, check the box beneath the form. Or, you can email ryan.booth@sciencelogic.com. We're looking for users with tips, tricks, how-to's, best practices, and stories about how to solve a problem or ease a pain point using ScienceLogic. Nervous? Don't let that stop you! We'll work with you to craft your presentation and hone your message. We can even co-present.

Is there a cost associated with attending this event?

ScienceLogic does not charge a fee to attend Tech Connect events. They are free to all our customers, including breakfast and lunch. However, all other costs (hotel, transportation, etc) are the responsibility of the attendee.

Will the sessions be streamed or recorded?

No. This is a one-of-a-kind, live event that won't be streamed or recorded, so you must be there to benefit from the experience.

What is the closest airport to the venue?

Eight Moorgate is approximately 19 miles or a 1-hour drive from London Heathrow Airport (LHR). Or, you can take the Elizabeth line from LHR terminals 2 and 3 to Liverpool Street and finish your voyage with a short .5 mile walk to the venue, taking approximately 1-hour. Please take the time of day and traffic into account when estimating event arrival and departure times.

Where do I go to check-in?

Reception will be there to greet you at the entrance and will deliver you to our meeting room. Meeting room details will be provided to all who register. We highly recommend you arrive early for check-in so you can enjoy breakfast prior to the event. Check out our agenda for details on what time breakfast starts.

What’s the parking situation?

Parking in London can be tricky. We recommend taking public transportation like the tube or opting for a taxi or ride share, like Uber.

What’s the WiFi info?

There is a wireless network for guests which will be provided in all relevant meeting rooms. WiFi information will be provided the day of the event.

What should I wear?

We like to keep it business casual. London will be warming up by June 18, but it might be cold in the meeting room so we recommend bringing a jacket.

I'm not from London. What's the weather generally like?

In June, temperatures are warming up after the cooler winter period, and it can get quite hot as summertime begins. On average you can expect highs around 20 C and lows of 12 C. But the UK is known for it's weather misbehaving, so best to come prepared for any scenario!
